So, what do you think about the new Kindle getting a $25 discount if you're willing to have ads on the front page?  Seems like a fair tradeoff to me, I think I'd have taken them up on it if it had been an option when I got my Kindle.

Speaking of which, anyone have a suggestion for an ereader similar to a kindle, long battery life, fairly cheap, but with a bigger screen?  Some of the PDF's that I'm trying to read end up being way too tiny on the Kindle's screen.

  1. $25 sounds reasonable, although i get all my stuff off craigslist

  2. I think I could handle it, but then again, a Kindle isn't exactly a lifestyle threatening expense is it? Do we really need to shave $25 off?

  3. Personally I'm a huge fan of the Nook, sure it's limited to Barns and Nobles but it's a great device and expanding out into the android market more and more.
